This Thursday, February 16, there’s an important Park and Rec Commission meeting at the GAR Hall on Dane Street (across from the Hess gas station), at 7:00 pm.  The entire meeting will be for the commission to decide which parks will have off-leash, on leash, and no dogs for parks in Wards two through six.  They have already decided, for Ward one, that Obear Park will not have any off-leash times.

 

Please note that BARC will NOT support any attempts to create "No dogs allowed" parks in Beverly. The purpose of the Green Dog Program is to offer more access to our city parks without losing any current privileges.
